This cycle of teachings was taught directly by Guru Rinpoche and recorded by Yeshe Tsogyal in dakini script. Centuries later, these hidden manuscripts were discovered, decoded and recorded by Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa and Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo.
