- The iconography of the 21 Taras differs widely among Tibetan lineages. We are pleased to offer these reproduction printed thangkas which depict the 21 Taras as described by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo in the Chokling Tersar empowerment manuals.
- It was Chokgyur Lingpa, a contemporary of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, who received the terma transmission for this practice from Tara herself. These thangkas are therefore well suited to those who will be practicing the Triple Excellence in addition to any followers of the Chokling Tersar lineage who practice Tara as their main Yidam. The original was painted by the skilled thangka artist Jamyang Phuntsog under the guidance of Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche and Lama Tenzin to ensure that every detail was correct and a proper support for visualization.
