Ratna is a non-profit that provides genuine dharma items for western practitioners and supports the activities of Gomde California.
Based in the redwood forests of Northern California, Ratna sources practice items from around the Buddhist world. Founded with the aspiration to support the activities of Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, Ratna helps host world-renowned teachers, meditation retreats, and Buddhist curriculum at Rangjung Yeshe Gomde California. We aspire that by providing authentic practice items, you will gain the inspiration and support necessary for the unfolding of wisdom and compassion.
All of the activities at Gomde California can be traced back directly to Padmasambava, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. The lineage practiced at Gomde has been passed down through an unbroken lineage of realized masters. These teachings are now being transmitted to the west.
Ratna springs directly from this living tradition of study, contemplation, and meditation. In order for the Buddhadharma to flourish, genuine mantra, samadhi, and substance are necessary. Ratna sources these practice items, including statues, paintings, substances, and ritual implements, from around the Buddhist world.
We work with a highly-skilled team of statue makers, painters, artisans, and Tibetan doctors. Every item is produced in accordance with traditional methods.
