Carnelian Mala

Malas made of red stone are generally used to practice deities associated with magnetizing activity—the power to bring about positive circumstances for realizing the Dharma. Carnelian is recommended for practitioners of Kurukulla and other such deities.

Enlightened activity can be categorized in four ways: pacifying, enriching, magnetizing, and subjugating. Of these four, magnetizing is utilized to assemble positive conditions for training in love and wisdom.
